UPDATED: Win 1 of 5 copies of Personal Project Parking

For individual editors or smaller facilities working on standalone workstations with media Personal Project Parking from Marquis Broadcast provides a low cost solution to archiving, versioning and moving Avid projects and their media for PC.

Project Parking from Marquis Broadcast takes a complete snapshot of an Avid Project; all its bins, sequences, GUI layout, along with every piece of media it references, and archives a faithful copy (MD5 checksums) onto any storage device. The project can be restored just as easily to any location. With Personal Project Parking incremental versions of the project can be archived and only the changed project files and additional media will be added to the archive. The user can restore any version of the project. Archived projects are stored in an open and accessible format which can be easily checked or browsed in Avid along with reports of their contents.

The combination of Personal Parking for freelancers and Project Parking for facilities, enables a project to be archived to portable storage, restored to a remote machine and returned to the facility in the same way, without any information or media being lost.

The software’s standard price is $899 (with a special launch price of $749) however in partnership with Marquis Broadcast we are giving 5 lucky people the chance to win a copy of Personal Project Parking.
